BE CAREFUL During Early Season

Postby carolinagreenhead » Sun Sep 16, 2012 1:51 pm

On my way into the deer stand Saturday I almost stepped on a copperhead laying in my path. It was laying perfectly still, as they do when their scared according to what I've read. Dang thing scared the crap out of me. It didn't try to bite me but prolly would have if I hadn't seen it first. I got within 2 feet of it before I saw it. It was probably 4 to 6 inches in diameter and about 3 feet long so be careful out there, especially while it's hot out.
