Woodie call?

Postby therountree » Mon Oct 01, 2012 2:35 pm

Anybody ever used Big Lake calls? They make a legit looking woodie call but I haven't heard it blown before... And Big Lake is right here in SC so I would love to support the local folk.

Any of yall got a favorite you wanna recommend for turning some passing woodies?

The Duck Commander WD-1 is my favorite, sounds great and is really easy to blow.

yeah i bought that call and i hated it ... sounds like a seagul .. mine sounds terrible and im not a bad caller i mean a wood duck call doesnt really take skill prolly more imagination than anything.... i would not recommend it wd-1 is the way to go.

Muddy paws. Made from shotgun shell, sounds great, excellent customer service.
