Won't no fun man. We found 3 separate flocks of 100+ on Sunday in the same area we killed them last year. Showed up Monday am, and never saw a goose until we were already packed up leaving at noon. 5 flew in when we already leaving the field. Sucked a big one.

For the record we saw all the geese in the am when we scouted.

Rain throughout Sunday scouting, and a light storms over night. We knew of other hunters in the area and we knew where other geese were and they all reported the same thing we did...geese never showed.

i think Tn has and will hold the record for most Cyberscouters in boardering states.

BTW, there are tons of ducks in TN.. not gonna tell any one where, but they are around...

Look...every guy that comes through DHC with his first post cyberscouting gets hazed for it. You MIGHT ask in the South Carolina forum, but you will probably get it worse there. I hear ducks are hard to come by in South Carolina, I've never hunted there-just what I hear. That being the case, if a guy finds some, good luck getting him to tell you where to go find them...even a general area. If you are a kid, he might take you with him depending on his impression of you.

Good luck with your quest for spots...or "general areas".....

Santee East is predominately impounded remnant rice fields that would be best for Teal.

Santee West is impounded bottomland hardwood forest...better for hunting big birds in regular season.

Spend a little time and figure out the spots that you want to hunt...don't take any of the comments personal.

Some of these guys are good people & great hunters, some are Jr Woodchuck Game Warden Wannabe's, some have never hunted ducks other than on the iPad, and some are PETA spy's.

It's all for fun and a great opportunity to chat with like minded people...most of the time.

I did you a favor now help me out...I would like for you to be 100% honest and tell us how old you are. If your over 18 talk all the trash you want, but if you aren't be sure you choose your battles wisely!

Also, you can find all the information your asking for on the Internet...do your research, and scout out your locations. Otherwise be ready to get slammed.
