What happend to Georgetown?

Postby masonmc » Tue Sep 18, 2007 6:50 pm

Some years ago my father-in-law entertained clients on duck hunts in the Georgetown area. I have been trying to find an outfitter for a potential hunt in the area in early January, but I can't find anybody on the internet that offers hunts  . Has that area completely died? If not, I'd appreciate some leads on some outfitters I can check with.

there is no such thing as a "guide" in south carolina anymore unless you want to shoot tamies on a corn pond. there aren't enough ducks to worry with really...unless you know the area real well.

their is still some good hunting for ringnecks in the bay and the teal havent been looking too bad either. but I do not know of a guide in that area either. It's luck of the draw to even get a parking spot at the landing.
