Postby QUACKADDICT409 » Thu Oct 18, 2007 7:33 pm

hey yall, I'm new to the forum. I live in socastee sc and am an avid duck hunter. I'm a fireman and work one on two off, so I have plenty of time to hunt. anyone interested in getting together for a hunt or two, let me know. anyhow just looking to pick some brains on hunting sea ducks until regular season opens. you can hunt them from oct 6 until jan 27. I just havent figured out all the details of decoys good places etc.

sea ducks are dumb and you can pretty much hunt them out of a boat with no blind. if you are hunting them when the normal duck season isn't in, there must be 1 mile of open water from any shore, land, or emergent vegetation. as long as the normal season is in however, you can whack away anywhere

I knew about the one mile deal and all. I was wondering if my ring necks and blue bill decoys will work?

When I've hunted them on the Pamlico weve always used Can decoys and they will come into those.
