*hopefully* just a temporary freeze

All froze up here at west river... was planning on hunting public land on the belle fourche river but the weather was a little too sketchy for a solo hunt. How is the east river hunting treating everybody?

Most if not all sloughs are frozen. We'll have to see what this warm up does. But frozen sloughs don't bother me. I'd rather shoot them out of the corn anyways.

Thats where the dilemma kicks in, i have a terrible field spread of 6 full body and 2 dozen shell goose decoys. That and im clueless to field hunting, and also have yet to see them in a field outside of city limits

I think the freeze is here to stay till next season. Be thankful it stayed open this long. Last year everything was froze up in October and stayed that way.

You do pheasant?
