This forum is for those who enjoy South Dakota duck hunting. And from spring Snow goose hunting and the Pheasant hunting in the #1 Pheasant state in the US.
My dad and I will be up in South Dakota, pending that we get drawn, the first of October in the northeastern part of the state. Just wondering if anybody is from around there and where the best public access spots are and if there are any other tips you might have for us.
Would be willing to hunt with some guys if there's any interest. We'll have a trailor full of decoys and a well-trained lab and an extra layout.

Get a public acess map for public land. And drive around and ask for permissioin for the private stuff. The worst a farmer can say is no.
