SE Region Waterfowl Hunting

Postby FowlAnesthesia » Sat Aug 04, 2007 10:13 pm

I will be moving to Sioux Falls in the near future and was wondering what waterfowl hunting opportunities may/may not exist in that part of the state. I wanted to post here to ask anyone familiar with the SE region what I can expect and if the hunting there is at all comparable to other well known productive regions of SD. Thank you for any input you may have.

I have a friend that used to live in Harisburg and hated it because there was no very many places to hunt in the area. Drive 50 to 75 miles north and u have great hunting.

You don't even have to drive that far north to get into better hunting. Just go over my madison or just drive west aways. Have friends that live by Mitchell and they do very well. I'm pretty sure you can shoot ducks anywhere in this state.
