this year hunting late 11-28/12-1; coming from florida; hunting near onida; usually shoot potholes with great success; weather forecasts on the internet are all over the place ; lows vary from 20 to 0 f.; are the potholes freezing up.? info appreciated and i can leave my waders at home; thanks giving and duck hunting with bug spray and suntan

The potholes are mostly frozen here in the NE.Onida will be the same I suspect as far as potholes.
There is a brief warm up ahead but not enough to reopen them I don't think.10 degrees here last night and again tonight.

The odds are that most of the ducks are already gone from there.
