Banded Hutch - worn band - how old..??

Postby huntmup » Mon Nov 03, 2008 8:53 am

Buddy & I opened up on a flock of wee-wuns and one of them was carrying a rolex -

The band is worn a LOT - can't post a pic but it's got a 1/8"+ wear 'hump' from the band sitting on his *middle toe*...

SO - got me to thinking - how old do you think he is..?? Lifespan is up to 24 years - I'm guessing this thing has to be at least 15 to get that much wear on the band...

I'm going to say the band has been on its leg well over 10 years. I've shot a few 10 year old bands that were not worn as much as that. If you would have reported it online, you would have gotten instant information on when it was banded.
