bird numbers around vermillion/yankton

Postby sdhunter09 » Wed Nov 12, 2008 4:51 pm

Im just wondering if anyone has been out scouting or if anyone has a number of birds around the vermillion or yankton area, or if the birds have even made it down here yet...i'm still in school and don't really have the funds to go out scouting and i don't know this area very well so i wouldn't even know where to start....any knowledge or advice would be greatly appreciated...thanks

Im not sure about that far south but around Aberdeen there are still 100,000 plus ducks in a 50 mile circle. So the they have not left us yet

On the river there might be a couple mallards left. Maybe like 2 or three thousand in the field we shot this morning.
