I was just wondering who is going out for dove opener on Thursday. I already took the day off to go.

I'm not going this season but I used to always go for opening dove... that always got my shooting prepped for ducks in a hurry! Good luck on your hunt... post up and let us know how it goes!

I really don't plan on hitting up the doves, but the geese this saturday are going to get pounded. Good luck on the doves, i might shoot some if they fly by.

Wish i could shot geese on saturday, but don't have any land up north, so i'll have to wait untill next weekend for geese. I'll let you know how the dove hunting goes.

Should of had one more flock but they caught us with our pants down right away in the morning. We have another field for sunday hopefully get the same kind of results. I like the 10 yard shots we were taking. Only used 1 dozen big foots and flagged they sucked right in. Took about 4 different times of scouting till we got them pin pointed but it was worth it.
