West TN Migration Watch 05-06 (post duck reports here)

Postby UT Greenhead » Tue Dec 06, 2005 10:44 pm

Here's the place to post duck reports for West TN. There are two rules for posting on this thread.

1) No Questions! This is for posting duck reports, not for asking "Where are the ducks?".

2) Keep Central and East TN reports off this thread.

Thanks,
UTG

Horn Bluff and White Lake are packed right now. Looks like this cold front is getting us a push.

I'll be hunting Tigrett Thursday and Friday, will give a report for that area Friday or Saturday evening.

Brownsville is holding a lot of ducks and we are starting to see some migrating south on the Hatchie river. This low water situation I think is for the better because you can actually locate where a majority of the ducks are holding up.

Plenty of birds pushing South both at Tigrett and Paris Landing. Not much to speak of the working type however. We shot quit a few, but had to work hard for em.

Mostly still Teal and Gadwall. Did see a few Mallards and Canvasbacks.

LOTS of ducks at Reelfoot last week. We limited out almost every day we went.

Not as many there this week from the reports I've heard. I guess some of that cold weather may have pushed some south.

NO DUCKS this past weekend. I hunted Tigrett and Paris Landing. Didn't fire a single shot all weekend.

I did however just get off the phone with a friend. He said the ducks are back in the bottoms now. Haven't seen for myself however.
