what are some of he most common ducks that are usually shot in tennessee

Depends on which part of Tennessee. Here in West Tennessee we commonly kill mallards, gadwall, pintail, widgion, teal (both blue wing and green wing), wood duck and shovelers. Also a few black ducks, canvasback, redhead, scaup, and other divers.

Sounds like about the same here. We get all types, but not many of any of them. Someone killed an eider here last year somehow. :huh: It also depends on the time of year and the weather up north. I shot some ruddy ducks this year and saw a lot more.
