East Tennessee Dove Hunting

Postby dgribble » Tue Aug 23, 2011 11:51 am

I know this is in the duck hunting chat area but I wanted some insight from Tennessee people on dove hunting. I live in Chattanooga and I'm looking for somewhere to get some dove hunting in this year. I've never had the opportunity to go so it'd be a new experience for me. Any suggestions for spots to go? I'd love to tag along if anyone is willing to help. I've got all the equipment I'd need, I think at least. I appreciate any help and insight I can get.

Thanks

TWRA will put up the fields they lease for the public a week or so before the season opens. That's all I can give you as far as dove hunting here. I don't know about any leases or anything like that. If you go to a public TWRA leased field, get there early if you want a good spot. Don't show up at 11am and expect to get the best seat in the house.
