Kingston ?

Postby Weedwacker » Thu Dec 20, 2012 7:51 pm

Have an opportunity to hunt this area as a friend has a home on the river .

Not asking for details on honey holes.

What could a Midwest waterfowler expect? Can you hunt from boat blind? What about snakes, are they an issue for dogs not use to snakes?

Much thanks.

Steel shot only . No shooting within 100 yds of residence. Limits are consistent with most. Anything else I can help with just shout..

You should expect to be disappointed most likely. Depending on where you live in the mid-west, you probably do pretty well typically. Around these parts, one duck is a good day. We can see some good days, but they are few and far between unless you have a private pond. When they freeze over, us big water guys see better days.

"Big water" do you mean the river or what water?

Thanks for feedback.

Rivers or lakes. I don't know how it's going on them though. I've only gotten to go out opening day. I went to graveyards and haven't been able to get out.
