The good times

Thinking back, It's been good with strong breeding seasons and conditions for the last years since....1993? Has something changed? Should a dry time have happened in this time range? Not complaining mind you... just wondering?

I have duck hunted in E TN since '91 and I can remeber several days where we didnt see a duck or a goose anywhere. I think this time period was pretty bad at times. But the past few years, we still have slow days, but i havent been where I didnt atleast see birds, let alone shoot. I think it is much better now than then. Why? I have no idea, maybe bird numbers are up or what ever. We still have to heavily rely on weather up north to push birds here, and I also believe that when they are here they are not going to stay long. We dont have enough food to hold them, thus, they move on. When its good, its pretty good!
