We'll be hunting from either the pit or one of my other 2 blinds on opening day at Kentucky Lake. The mud flat has from 8,000 to 10,000 birds on it right now and we're centrally located between 3 national wildlife refuges. NO PROMISES, but possibly have an opening. A friend of mine lives in Madison and I'd bet he'd be open to someone splitting gas with him - especially at $3.00+/gal.
Early Sept Season
75 Teal
4 Woodies
3 geese

Reelfoot Nov 10th 11th
3 Woodies
5 Mallards
4 Greys

Secret weapon? Home-design electric tipper decoys. Ducks can't stand to be left out of the feast!!!
Not sold in stores or on-line. Not yet...
