Here is a link to the TWRA for everyone to check out the latest news going on with our states wildlife department.

http://www.state.tn.us/twra/index.html

For our recent newcomers, you should be able to find some information about WMA's and other hunting opportunities in your area, as well as anything else you may need to know.

I can't tell you guys much about the hunting in Middle TN, but if you need help I will do what I can for you. CallemquackTN is from Middle TN and out of all of us TN boys he can probably help you the most. Welcome to the site and we hope you enjoy it.

Well I do most of my hunting in West Tn. I do make a trip over to the Dark side of the state one time a year and I don't think I have evey done any in the center of the state.

So if you need a little here on this side let me know.

I hunt mostly in middle Tennessee (Old Hckoey Unit 1 and III) but make the occasional trip to NW Tennessee to hunt with buddies. I will help anyone as long as he she respects the sport and the quarry.

Hello guys,
I from around Chattanooga. I decicded this year to just get my Bama license becuase I figure that area will produce the best harvest for my season. I do hear of some hunting going on up on the TN River...never heard of any spots in particular. Do you think I should keep working Alabama or (if you know) is hunting good enough close to Chattanooga to give it a look? If not I will save my money and keep working Guntersville lake. Any opinions?
Sam
