Hey, my Mom lives in Knoxville and I was wondering if I should bring my boat up to duck hunt when I visit her this season. My Grandparents live in Sweetwater where I have spent a lot of time but I have only seen a few green heads and a goose on a small pond. How’s the public land hunting around this area? Thanks

Sucks. Not many ducks here at all. There's plenty of geese if you know where to go though. It's my first year actually hunting them, but I'm on the lake quite a bit and don't see too many birds. I've heard that the Royal Blue WMA has quite a few birds since there's so many beaver ponds up there, but as for Knoxville, it probably won't be worth your time or extra gas money.
