Tenn duck hunting

Postby hogjaw » Wed Oct 01, 2008 11:11 am

Hey all you Tennessee duck hunters I got a question for ya. Im form Alabama and have a buddy who has a cousin who is supposed to take us duck huntin up there this year (if he comes through)! Anyway, how much is a non resident license and state stamp? and is there any other stuff I would need? just tryin to put a price tag on it to see if it'll be worth going. Thanks.

A 7 day small game/waterfowl license will run you $50.50 If you're hunting a WMA or Reelfoot, you'll need an additional license for that. The WMA smallgame/waterfowl hunting is $10.50/day or $51 for the year. Reelfoot is $3.50 per day, $10.50 for three days, or $17 for the season. If you hunt Reelfoot you don't need the WMA permit. You also need a Federal Duck Stamp, but I'm sure you already have one of those.

the reelfoot permit is just a permit that you have to buy if u plan on hunting at reelfoot lake. if yall up that far north you should go check out reelfoot lake. its worth the trip. even if you dont kill many. but we always do good up there....knock on wood.
cut em.
