Hi Everyone,

I just came across this website and am hoping someone here can give me some advice. I am the wife of a duck hunter and am looking to plan a guided trip for my husband for Christmas. We live in Atlanta and duck hunting here is not very good. I have been doing some research and have been reading about Reelfoot Lake in Tennessee. Has anyone ever hunted there? Would that be a good place to book a trip for my husband or does anyone know of somewhere better? Trying to stay within 6 hours of Atlanta.

Thanks in advance for any helpful info.

Hey Kristen first your husbands lucky thats an awesome present. Second reelfoot is a great place to hunt my brother and friends went their and had a great 2 days. My uncle guides around Scottsboro Alabama which is a little closer. I hunt usually half a season with him every year and we have had great seasons the past few years and this season looks really promising. He hunts a big boat and big spreads and always aims to please and he keeps you entertained in between volleys. PM if you want more information.

Reelfoot is THE spot. Try Jamie Hamilton (www.blackjackpocket.com/)
or Mike Newsom (Natural)(www.floodedtimber.com)
Your husband will NOT be disappointed!
