Blind draw at Old Hickory

Postby chipster1010 » Sat Aug 01, 2009 3:50 pm

Did you get the blind you wanted? We were drawn near the last. We picked 101. Does anyone know how big the blind is. We have to replace the floor. Where would you launch a boat from to go to the blind? Closest Boat Ramp?

Has this blind done any good?

Thanks for your help.

There is a ramp about a quarter mile before the entrance to Gallatin Steam Plant. It is very close to 101. As for killing ducks you need some very cold weather to freeze the lake up. I would be wishing for about 3 weeks where it doesnt get out of the 20's. We just havent had weather like that in about 20 years. Good Luck
