No ducks at all. Went to Sore Finger on Saturday, and was met by 5 other groups. Saw a few ducks, but the group next to me would skybust em everytime. So I gave up early (9:00). and decided to go find a new spot for Sunday. I ended up goin to the other side of the lake to the Willis Unit. Saw a few more ducks, but could get nothing to come in. I'm gonna try hunting closer to the Willis park for next weekend.

It was the exact opposite last season at about this time. It was not only cold, but we had been getting a lot of rain, which would flood the lake...many, many feet above normal level....I couldn't even make it to my blind. There were thousands of ducks...all kinds, we even had a fairly large roost of snows in one of those back fields. We would sit on the fence line, and shoot ducks all morning, would limit out within a few hours. I even got a black duck one day.
