howd things turn up soo far. im headin out there in the morning gonna give it a try again hopefully it will be better. the weathers spose to be kinda ducky

saw lots of ducks (50+), but couldn't get anything to come in. Only got 2 (gadwall, GWT).

Sunday was a decent day for me and two buddy's at Granger. Got 2 Redheads, 1 Teal and a Pintail with a little something extra special attached to it. Check out the jewlery below.

nice :thumbsup: hey i was wonderin after huntin monday was lookin around at other spots and i found this entrance i guess its still considered sore finger but its a lil stock tank looked pretty ducky but was wonderin if yall had tried ur luck there and if so howd you do. looked good for ducks to roost

no. The ducks usually don't fly off the main lake. I know where you are talking about. I park there, and walk in.

hey reedp79.....where were you set up???

Went out today, and COULD NOT get a duck to come in. Not sure what I was doing wrong.

Without giving out any specific honey holes, I was around the Northern portion of the lake I guess around the Sore Finger unit as well. Course I have a boat and where I was at you really need one unless you want to hike in around 2 miles. Hopefully this "cold" front blew some more birds in for this weekend. Good luck to you all.

never mind reed i saw ur post on the other topic. but there was someone huntin on a duck boat. did know there were too many that did there God id love to have my own boat. make huntin alot easier.

This is my first year with a boat. If you do get one I recommend going half with someone. Otherwise it can get really expensive. You can see pics of our boat my father and I transformed under the boats blinds forum. Its called "pics of duck boat in the making" havent posted any interior pics since its been done because my camera has been broken. Good luck to you the rest of the season

went out on sunday mornin. through that big storm jeez settin up 4 dozen deeks in a huge lightnin/thunder storm pourin rain and cold. jeez you cant say im not dedicated haha. any ways the mornin started off good birds were flyin. had some pintails decoy and then not much for awhile then i got a mallard wasnt the greatest even though the weather was almost perfect. but any hunting is better than sittin at home.

yep....I was out as well. Only had one bluebill come in the entire morning.

Hey guys are you headin out to granger for the last time for the season this weekend. im plannin on sunday i know its probably gonna be pretty easy but ill get out there by 3 if i need to. the weather so far is looking pretty promising.

I've only shot 3 ducks in the last 3 times I've gone. The ducks have pretty much made the migration. There are no real numbers coming down anymore.
