May be visiting Texas this Oct for a week or more, wondering what is available to do in Oct. Not sure exactly where in the state but hoping to find something "hunting related" to enjoy. Gudied/unguided.....Thanks

You might want to try dove hunting, it's a long time Texas tradition!! Good dove hunting is widespread in Texas...

Check out the seasons from TPWD:

Yea, was suggested on another site as well.....I think that would work, question, ya think a dove/hog hunt would/could be arranged? Never killed a hog so that would be of interest and as you stated, doves would certainly be a good hunt. Thanks
