...all that millet I planted? Well, it is finally underwater and I won't get to hunt it for the remainder of the season. :lol3:

I'll let you know how it is. Of course we get all this rain the last 3 weekends of the season.

Put down like 150 pounds of seed. It may not sound like much, but that is a ton of seed. "Japanese millet planted for Dove Fields can be planted at 5-10 lbs. per acre spacing the plants out more." I forget what fertilizer my dad used, but he told me he put it on "heavy." When he says that I know he used as much as possible without burning up the plant. I can ask him which brand he used, but I already know his response: "Just regular old fertilizer I got at the store."

Very nice! Ours that we planted in the timber flooded a little with the last rain, this one should bring it all the way up and then some, gotta get out there and check it out soon!
