Shot this grey on the last day. Never seen one with a black ring around its neck. Real nice bird with a ton of orange on its back. Any of yall seen this? Pretty sure its all gadwall. Genetic mutation?

We get 1-2 a yr out if 300 ish/ yr. cool birds. Gads are like wigeon in that every one is a little different.

A buddy of mine that I guide with shot a Gaddy the season before last(2011/2012) that had green and yellow on it's head. He thinks it's a hybrid, but no one is really certain.
I'll post pics once he gets it back from the taxidermist.

I shot a blonde bluewing a few years ago it was a white/ blonde almost a pearl tint tha only color on it was tha light blue on tha wings
