Drawdowns/Mgmt

Do any of you participate in wetland management? If so, are you doing slow release drawdowns for moist soil management, or are you releasing all at once? When you release all at once what benefits are you seeing? I understand the benefits of slow release, and that is what I am leaning towards. When are you planting?
