Gonna have to switch over to hunting mode here soon. Until then I will keep putting my buddies on some fishies... Image

And watch the birdies and Bambi's grow...

Sounds like as good a reason to kidnap tako as anything I can think of.

Very nice Stump and SA  I wish I had your success last week. Only could catch that one keeper red and lots of short fish. I will be heading back down next weekend to camp out at goose island for one last shot. Got any pointers

Fish shallow, slow and with fresh live bait in places that hold quality fish. There are fish everywhere, some areas hold more quality than others. Goose and some areas around Rockport/Corpus etc get slammed in the winter and now even into spring and summer by snow birds of the fat Canuck variety... Try to find places that they don't frequently over fish.

Good advise. Thanks. It seems to be hard to loose the crowd these days with every joe blow owning a kayak or a boat. My trouble is just finding the quality fish when I only go twice a year.

Hey when I got down here I fished every day for a month. I think anyone could find some fish in that amount of time.

Dynamite? Hehe. Just because I choose not to use arti, doesn't mean I don't know when where or how to catch a few with them. I stock up with fish for summer and fall block party fries. :)
