We caught fish when I was down last weekend but nothing like that. I brought home 3 specks and my brother 2 specs and a flounder. I lost one trout that would go 28+ while trying to land her. I was pissed. Other than that lots of reds and trout 1/4 to 1/2 inch short.

My grinding is done. I might try cast and blast this season down there as my favorite hunting grounds are unchanged since last season.

Went today for a little solo trip managed 4 trout over 20" and two reds a 25" and 27" tournament fish, all which were caught on artificials. Didn't manage to get any pics this time, phone died and I stopped at some cleaning tables on the way home.

Keeping the grind rolling with 8 days to flappy flappy bang bang time. Took the fiance out tonight axis hunting. She tagged her first Axis buck, nothing special just a young cull for meat... ImageImage
