Winchester or Federal shells, whichever they have in stock.

Shoot either Improved Cylinder, Modified or Full, depending on how they're flying.

Going to try a different setup this year with decoys while on the river. Pond hunting is just a J hook

The plan is to kill as many ducks as I legally can.

Factory full choke, #2 of whatever doesn't break the bank. The setup will include hunting out of mangroves 90% of the time over a spread of 3 dozen teal, 4 dozen pintail, a dozen wigeon, 3 dozen redheads, and two spinning wing decoys at the beginning until they start flaring birds. $h!t needs to hurry up!!!!!!

I'm shooting hevi metal and federal premium, 3.5" #2's. Got a case of each ready to roll, and I got some hevi metal #4 for early teal. Choke wise I got a set of Briley grand passage choke tubes to put in work in any kind of situation that might arise. What Im really stoked about is my aquapod layout boat I got a few weeks ago. This should add a new wrinkle to the game, and more birds to the bag!

Not yet Tako, it is still in the box in my garage. I'm gonna order a 4 rivers reclining layout seat for it, and drape some camo netting on it and attach grass bundles to the netting. I will get a pick up with the finished product when I'm done.

Small ponds/early season/primarily small and midsized ducks/in the blocks/Nov & Dec
20ga 1oz 4s winchester Dryloks - skeet
12ga 1 1/8oz 4s remington Sportsman - skeet

public hunted sky busted birds after the first full week
12ga 1.25oz 3s Drylocks preferred- SRM Terror Choke .675

Late season small ponds/primarily big and med ducks/in the blocks/Jan.
12ga 1.25oz 3s Dryloks preferred - Skeet

Pass shooting and really windy conditions
HeviShot 6s - skeet choke

That being said, I'm going to give the 20ga most of my time this year. I have some fiocchi Tundra and Winchester Xtended 4s socked away for a bit more knock down during late season.

Blackcloud sucks. Last year I know 3 people that ruined their barrels.

Kent for ducks. Hevi Metal for geese. As far as chokes, I shoot Kicks and Angle Port.

Angle Ports are bad asssssssss.

My dad can't get his choke out of his barrel and that's all he shot last year for some God awful reason, so I'm betting they are the culprit as well. Glad I don't shoot them. Lol

Shot about 10 shells of it last year and gave the rest of the box away. Patterned like crap to me.

Yeah I finally convinced him to shoot Kent's or the blue box federals. For my 870 through the kicks chokes they both pattern very well

Shooting a Patternmaster full with Federal Speed Shok #2's. I've found that's the most versatile setup. Works for everything from teal to geese.
