Don't get your stuff stolen again and good luck. I saw 2 ducks flying this morning so looks like it will be on fire tomorrow.

Probably saw we'll over four to five thousand birds. First shot of the day for me was my first drake pintail. Then we followed him up with a green wing and blue wing. We also had two drake pintails land literally a foot in front of us 10 minutes before shooting light. Didn't kill a ton, but over all awesome hunt.

We ended up having a great hunt. Showed up to our spot, and someone beat us to it. Plan B was much better than plan A...funny how things work out! :-)

We shot 17 this morning... Mostly teal with a few spoonies. The hunt itself was pretty good, but never again will I walk that far through silty mud with 3 sleds, 3 layouts, and decoys... Took 1 hr going in (downhill), and took 2.5 hours coming out. For teal and spoons nonetheless

How do you like your sled? You were asking about them right?

I went with a viking sport from gander mt and I like it a lot. It was definitely a good investment. I know I won't be packing very much crap next time I use it though (not that it didn't handle it well). I am wore out after the walk dragging all the stuff we took. Bad idea to take very much.

My jet sled XL was loaded to the gills! Luckily we didn't have to far of a walk.

Pintails decoyed about 7 minutes early along with about 40 redheads. We did end up shooting two redheads a piece ( two guys) in the first 15 minutes.

We shot a 6 man limit both days... Gadwall, wigeon, teal, and a few redheads on Saturday. Pintails, gadwall, wigeon, and teal this morning. Seems that the sprigs and geese migrated in throughout the night last night... Great opening weekend over all!!

And guess what... I still have the squirts!
Make em hate it!!
