It's still a little slow down here, 8 ducks today, but a great improvement over the past couple days. I'm taking off all week, but only expect 2-3 birds per gun until after the first week in January.

Poor ducks have been under a lot of stress the past couple weeks, but it's going to calm down some after Wednesday.

It's been pretty slow here too. Birds are getting wise fast. Barely scratching out two or three birds an outing. It's frustrating but still better than sitting in the cubicle.

Fished last night and between the two of us we caught 48 trout, 4 reds and 2 flounder.
Trout and reds were caught on 1/16th ounce jig head with a glow and chartreuse norton sand eel jr. They were in the deeper water and would hit hard on the drop, most times right after the cast.
Flounder were caught on a 1/16th ounce flounder jig head topped off with a live mud minnow. They were sitting right on the shelf of the drop off and bait was just drug across the bottom.

Park duck that had a band. Then a duck dynasty fan found said duck and removed the band plus her foot.

Did any of you guys get to hunt this morning? It was without a doubt the best day of the season.

It was hot, calm, and sunny before the front came in :(...ducks were hanging out in open water etc. Once the wind started to blow, and clouds covered the sun it was on. I thought I was in Canada for a second. Lol

We'll 7 months later my hardhead fin decided to work its way all the way through my finger. Entered on the right side and last night I pulled it out with vice grips on the left side, te picture really doesn't do this thing justice.
