Sorry bout the damage smiley but glad y'all are ok. Had some damage here too just not at my house. Tornado touched down in Farmersville, Princeton, and merit, but no fatalities thank goodness.

Guy from the Nation Weather Service said it was a down burst. The barn, rated to withstand 165 mph wind, was fully enclosed and anchored to the ground. It's amazing what wind can do.

With that said, if y'all know of anyone that does roofing, fiberglass repair, aluminum boat repair, builds metal buildings, replaces windows, does debris cleanup, sells decoys, sheetrock work, or auto hail damage repairs have them get in touch with me.

I'd rather spend money with good people than the guys riding up & down the street handing out flyers.

My friends met one of the guys who lost his house when he made it to the ER. Said the ambulance made two or three passes before they found him.

It's possibly a friend of my friend if it was near merit... He was sucked out of his front door and landed in a pasture. Luckily he had his phone and was able to call for help. Scary stuff man for sure... We watched several funnels drop from the wall cloud that day. Crazy to watch....

It's a possibility. Did he get flown from hunt regional to MCP?

My home will always be NE Texas...I've only been visiting S Texas for the last decade.

Those greasy SOB's are awesome! I still get them a couple times a year...that's part of the reason I still use the taxidermist in Pittsburg. I also get them from JB's in Hughes Springs during duck season cause it's closer to where I hunt.

Tell you something else I miss...meat pies!

Need a random thread?

Postby :-) » Wed May 07, 2014 8:41 pm

I've had some good times on the drainage ditch, but now when we go I end up in the basement of the Children's Museum watching the kids grocery shop at the mini HEB, and then dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.

Hope y'all have fun celebrating!

I'm in Houston almost every week, and don't have many problems...yesterday I didn't leave downtown until 5:20!

Saying it sucked is a huge understatement.
