Could have had a limit but decided to hunt the 30 ft part of the pond and had to paddle a 10 ft jon boat out to the ducks with a tree branch to retrieve them. Watched a group of about 20 circle me as i was in the middle wanting to land in my decoys.

Don't be fooled by the dog. My wife's uncle only taught it to hunt dove and it will not retrieve in water....

Image
sure is misleading.

Image
slow day, but we got in to some Pintails late. A group of about 10 came in and we all got 2.

And last, but definitely not least. I am getting one of these pups mid December and I can't wait!

Ha thanks. The only reason I didn't get that sprig mounted, was it's right wing was beat up.

Why I always hunt with backup, you can't see it right now but I have my partner across the way with a dot on your forehead waiting for you to try.

I then throw empty lead hulls into your blind area and scatter lead shells everywhere and proceed to call the game warden. You lose

You know a valid point was made here tonight. When cleaning left behind shells up, make sure of what your carrying out. It would suck to get caught with empty lead hulls that belong to someone else.
