Birds were skiddish and we had to work hard, but we scratched it out this morning. A grey day with two nice kicker birds.

Thank you! It's was a fun hunt with constant drama...I took 2 teenage boys, my son & his buddy, that act like they're 6. One of them showed up with a mojo barrel sticker on his gun, and a box of 2 3/4 low brass 6 steel shot...I knew then it was gonna be a good day!

Anyway, I always have room for guest, and I'm covered up with cranes. (Spoony's also if you couldn't tell). I shot the crane this morning with a 3" #3...I couldn't pass that shot up. Lol

Most of my crane hunting takes place in the PM...one of my spots is next to a huge crane roost, and they start coming in around 4:45. Just let me know if ya ever want to go. It's not as much fun as duck hunting, but they sure do taste good.

Awesome offer man! If I can ever tear away from here for a day or so I might take you up on it. Thanks!

Looking at these pictures makes me wish I didn't live on the coast at the moment. :/

Went down towards West Columbia this past weekend and had to keep from shooting ringnecks. We stopped at 18 because it was getting ridiculous.

Seeing plenty of birds but I just wanted to give stump a hard time since he can't hunt

No excuses...I live in the same general area, but most of my time is spent wanting to Choke ducks, and throw them in a Canyon.

Took a guided crane specific hunt and I really couldn't have been happier with the results. Called, decoyed and lighting crane. I wish video from my iPhone would transfer better but oh well. Amazing Texas waterfowl experience.
