Man, I've been trying to gain access to some river frontage in CenTex... If it ever happens, I'll give ya a shout!

I have access to the Sabanna River and the Brozos River, but I am really after something rocky with pools like the Bosque River or Llano River...

What is wrong with the Brazos River?

With all of the rain here lately, it's deep and moving too fast to hunt where I have access... If the river drops and is low like last year, it might be good again!

I gotcha. Where we hunt at its about 2 feet deep right now, that flows in from a spot about 8 feet deep. Hunted it hard the past few years, and when we had the bad drought it was perfect. Only place around with water.

That evening was awesome. All of those birds plus some decoyed then would swim to the bigger group. It was a steady stream of birds in the decoys.

I got a piece of that bird but conceded it to one of the guys who had a better angle on the shot, basically split shot... Bands aren't worth arguing over!

Stump, will you please save us some ducks? It's not right for you to be shooting all those poor defenseless ducks while the rest of us are hard at work. Lol

Nice picture...hopefully you'll catch me in your spot sometime during the second season.

Good...my spot has dried up. Between the lack of ducks, crappy ammo, and my lack of shooting ability today was horrible! Only shot three dang ducks.
