Greetings Texas Waterfowlers

I haven't been on duck hunting chat in a long while. I moved from Montana, back to Oklahoma (where I'm originally from) and then to Colorado over a 10 year period of time...it's been crazy busy for me. Anyway, in the summer, I took a position with a new company here in Houston, and plan to stay in Texas...for good! So far, I love it here...not necessarily the city of Houston, but this area in general.

I've always loved duck and goose hunting, but Colorado doesn't offer you a lot of opportunities, so while I was there, I got much more into big game hunting. Now that I'm here in the great Republic of Texas, I'm looking forward to getting heavily back into waterfowling and bird hunting in general...it's always been my favorite type of hunting.

I'd like to say hello, and hope to find some guys in my area and around the state to make friends with and find some future hunting buddies.

Mojo, I live up near Spring. We took a place with a year lease just to get us here, but I'm ready to get outside the city limits already! Anyway, hopefully come springtime, we'll be able to move further out. Right now, we're looking at the Magnolia area.

People ask me what duck hunting is
I tell them its cold, its muddy, its bloody, and its early as hell in the morning....you will hate every second of it. Me? I love it...

Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I'm pretty giddy to live here in south Texas. I've always been told this is one of the best places in the country to hunt waterfowl, and I can't wait.

By the way, I'm looking for possibly a good duck/goose club to join here. PM me if y'all can give me some ideas.

Thanks.
