Taking a trip to Texas

Postby Ilovesidebysides » Wed Jan 01, 2014 1:24 pm

Hello there
I live in MD. I have an uncle who lives in Austin. I'm thinking about visiting him, and would love to get some waterfowl hunting in while I'm down there. We dont' have specks over here, so I'd love to shoot them. I've heard they taste pretty good.
Any advice? Is trying it on public land worth the effort, or should I just hire a guide?
Thanks for any info at all!

When were you thinking of coming ? You are running out of time and you won't get into any specks here around Austin. If you're in need of more info send me a pm and I'll help you the best I can. I'll be in and out of town though looking myself! Good luck
