Nice (looking) Pintail Whistles ...

Postby Pouledeau » Thu Jan 09, 2014 9:10 am

So I decided that I wanted a pintail whistle, a little more aesthetically pleasing – don’t get me wrong, my plastic whistle sounds great but I saw a varnished wooden pintail whistle that looked like a High-Roller recently and was wondering if anyone knew where to get one … ?

If you’re looking for one too, don’t buy the Faulk’s 70 or the Faulk’s 75. They’re $3 on eBay for a reason.

I've heard Kelly's whistles are really nice ... ? Any others for thought?

Looks a bit like a pecker, but a Maurilio whistle is different.

Thanks Mark. I think that's the one ...

On another note, if that's what your pecker looks like, you might want to see a doctor.

Funny thing is that I have never even heard Pouledeau call... He just wants to look fashionable while slamming em!

Which reminds me... Here is a pic from our traditional Christmas eve hunt.

What's yours made of Matt? Here's his first ever Mesquite whistle:

Believe it is just you mine are the same size. Also they are hand turned so not every call will be the same size.
