Hello fellas,
Hoping anyone could help shed some knowledge of quality labrador breeders anywhere here in Texas. Looking to get a new lab puppy and Ive researched a few places on the internet but was hoping to hear if anyone has had good experiences with anyone in particular. Thanks

Where are you located? If you want a quality dog spend some time with your local retriever club. usually the senior members are very helpful and willing to point you in the right direction. We have made great friends through our local club. Good luck.

The blind duck, a very active retriever club member friend of mine says he has two black pups left. If you want the contact info give me a holler

I got my pup from 3D Retrievers out of the Woodlands. They are easy to work with and they have some great pups.

I ended up going with a pup from dark timber kennels. I couldn't be more satisfied.

Hidden Lake Retrievers in Anderson is a good place to check out. They strictly do training and boarding but they could definitely point you in the right direction for any caliber dog you are looking for. Big into Hunt test stuff and some field trial things if that's what your into. Kirk just passed 8 out of 11 dogs he took to the Master National in California. Good guys real easy to work with.

I would also check into Texas flyway retrievers. I know the trainer there Charlie Cates has dogs at the National Field trial championship just about every year. They are in the Madisonville area.

Hope this helps!
