I figured since duck season is over I would start a fishing pics thread to give us something to look at until the season starts up again.

Time for the big uglies, this is one of 9 we caught in about two hours.

Looks like a bunch of nice fish. Can someone save me a couple bucks and please tell me a lake, or river that I can actually launch a small aluminum boat in? Preferably within an hour of Wichita Falls. Went to arrowhead and lake wichita and it's about 1/4 of a mile from the boat ramp until there's any water.

Not wanting to cash in on your honey hole but it would be nice to get out this weekend and do a little fishin.

Not sure where you are in Wichita Falls, but hit up Lake Fork. Might be a little more than an hour, but just google the fishing there.

Corkys for winter fishing for big trout is no kept secret... However, that day I was throwing one of the new Soft Dines with little expectation of catching much bc water was 48 degrees. I WAS WRONG! :grooving:

Maybe try some of the other lakes in the area that allow fishing and not hunting... Diversion Lake, Lake Kickapoo, Lake Kemp? Water levels will likely be an issue anywhere in that area. But man if you can get on the lake and find a deep hole, the fish should be really concentrated!!

Those soft dines are the shizzz for catching finicky trout that just want a snack and not a meal.

shouldn't take to long to get to texoma. but if your boat is really small stay in the coves. or leave the boat at home and fish below the damn with bigger tackle than you think you need because you never know whats going to happen there!

Fish, it's what's for dinner..

Pompano is hands down the best fish in our waters. The best part is there is no size/bag limit on those jokers either!
