Unfortunately, as of late, yes. Considering how many hunters there are in TX, there should be 5 times the activity, even for this time of year. Maybe tell a few of your hunting friends to join up so you all can have more things to talk about. Dove season is coming up is it not?

Dove season is definately on the way. Opening day is Sept 1 can hardly wait. There are alot of hunters in Texas, not all of them might be in the computer era if you know what I mean

This year I have seen more dove than I have ever seen before. About half of them are whitewings too. I hope this translates to a good season. As someone mentioned earlier about ducks; this light rainfall could be a blessing. Concentrate on the water for the doves and the teal.
