New to the chat. Starting to get excited about he upcoming season and was wondering where everyone hunted. I hit the Ray Roberts area. Buck Creek. Decent Mallards and Woods.

I plan on hunting Ray Roberts this year. I see that a Annual Hunting permit is now required. They just keep finding ways to make hunting more expensive!

I'm also going to try lake lewisville. I have a boat, and a kayak. I'm going to try to diversify my hunting locations this year.

Have any yall heard of lake Prochter in prochter texas. not many have but its really good hunting lotta teal mallards and woodies
we didnt get to the top of the food chain by bein vegetarians

No but I've heard of Lake Proctor in Proctor Texas.Used to be alot of peanutfileds around the lake,but afew years back the Gov't quit paying subsidies to peanut farmers and the hunting down there went downhill.Last trip I made down there it was bootlip city.
