Yep.....heard about those tags for the first time last year. I could never find any though......all sold out by the time I heard about them. Better ask for them early......

Jager.....looks like you live pretty close to me. You and I should go do some scouting on Lewisville or RayRoberts. I hear there's pretty good hunting out there. :salude:

I just don't understand, TPWL is making it very hard on us. they require it but you almost have to buy them in black market, no one has them and the ones who have them deny it because they want to save them for their friends and family.... and the worse part is if you get caught you gun is taken away and a big fat ticket on top... :pissed: :pissed: :pissed:

Teal tags

Postby MicroMike » Fri Jul 29, 2005 1:08 pm

I just spoke with Texas parks and wildlife. There is no teal tag.

Just the migratory game bird stamp and the federal stamp.

For big duck season, yes. But for teal season.....you gotta have the tags. Espescially for the rainbow teal......

Ok, you got me. I thought you guys might be screwing around, as I'd never heard of teal tags, but I didn't duck hunt until last Jan. BTW, I only hunted for 1 month, and only on weekends, and I limited out on multiple occassions. Not too bad considering it was public land.

And there are actually teal tags for Waco lake.
