Went north of Krum, Texas on Thursday morning. Several of us limited out. I've been seeing more dove this year than ever before.

We saw mostly whitewings!

All that ag, and the lakes and ponds in the area have got the birds flocking to this area around ag fields.

Sorry, I didn't take any pictures for you.

I only shot two all day, but it was a lot of fun any way.

I also saw lots of whitewings and I have never seen one in that field before only in the city.

Well, opening day could have gone better. I only got two, but I only fired 5 shots the entire day. I guess I just went to the wrong public fields. I could hear shots every where, so it sounded like someone was having fun. Fri and Sat my luck got alittle better, I went to different fields and found some decent spots. Heck, sooner or later I will have enough to cook. However there is Good News....

Went to Breckenridge Thursday and Friday then out to Commerce Sunday evening and Monday. When it was all said and done I had 69 birds. Had to eat a few.
