Anyone still huntig dove?

Postby RedTx » Sun Sep 25, 2005 7:56 pm

Went out this afternoon to try to kill some. I hunted a sunflower field that is finally starting to head out. The action was pretty good. Then all of the sudden the babysitter (parents) calls says my little boy is going nuts and they have hand enough, he is teething so i decided to wrap it up.

I shot 10 times got 8 birds in about 30 minutes. Not great but im just happy im still getting to hunt as much as I am. Ill get em next time :tu

Yes, I did and I will say this, the next time I go Hog hunting there I will take a cannon with me...

the hogs were huge, I'm talking in the 800-1000 lbs. the 270 I was shooting didn't even scratch their skins at 200 yards.

Here is a limit I shot in Floydada, Texas about a week and a half ago. The birds left the field last week though, or I would still be hunting them. Anyone else still getting any dove?[/img]
