I'm assuming you meant "Brownwood"....as in SE of Abilene.

Never hunted it, but I used to have a deer/dove lease (that turned out to be a duck lease) in Brownwood right off the edge of the lake. All of the ponds would get COVERED up with ducks when hunters on the lake would get fired up. So I'd venture to say it could be alright. Quite a few hunters on the weekends....way less during the week. They've had LOTS of rain out that way this year......could be good.
