Has anyone tried this NEW thing......scouting? I heard it can really help when it comes to duck hunting. I usually just ask about locations and hot-spots, but never get any definitive spots that way......so I figured actually scouting the ducks myself may help. Your thoughts??? :toofunny:

Yep,I've heard of it.I think it involves burning lots of fuel, putting miles on a vehicle and trying not to destroy your boat. One of these days I'm gonna try it.

no way dude,,, are you kidding?!

I just go on discussion forums and ask and try to get a general location and just show up right before shooting time and set up my spread close to some hunter cause I know they prolly have had some luck there and it will rub off on me.

it works for me,,,, scouting is boring...

or you can just go to the city park all dressed in camo and decoys with your dog and whack'em before anybody's there.
Then take pictures and brag about your honey holes toyour hunting buddies.

That's what I do,,, but I won't tell you which park... that's my "Honey Hole"
